Bengaluru: Mudigere MLA MP Kumaraswamy has indirectly warned the State government over grants not released for his constituency.

“I am fighting for the grants to my constituency. The chief minister had said that he will provide it. I would make my own decision if the grant is not given,” the MLA said.

Talking to reporters here, he said, “I am not receiving any proper response. If this time too no grants are provided then I will have to think of other options,” he added.

“Last year there was a flood in my constituency. Six people were washed away and many houses were damaged. People in the constituency are angry with me. The CM and minister R Ashok had come to the constituency. Now even Opposition leader Siddaramaiah and former CM HD Kumaraswamy have said that they would tour the constituency. If they come they will accuse me of doing nothing for the constituency,” Kumaraswamy said.
