Mayor Gangambike inspects streets in Kalasipalyam

Bengaluru: Mayor Gangambike Mallikarjun inspected the city roads, and several places where piles of garbage was being dumped around the city.
Gangambike inspected areas along with senior BBMP officials on Thursday, and was shocked to see the pathetic condition of roads, with piles of garbage being dumped and she had to walk amidst the mess.
Mayor ordered the officials to remove the heap in four to five days and also slapped a fine of Rs 10,000 on street vendors who had encroached upon the footpath.
Mayor directed the officials to renovate the Kalasipalyam market, which includes renovating the roof, re-modelling the drains and construction of toilets in the vicinity.
