Bengaluru: Hours after BJP MP Shobha Karandlaje wrote a letter to Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh to ensure the CID conducts a fair probe into the arrest of journalist S A Hemant Kumar for allegedly circulating a fake letter Home Minister M B Patil questioned why didn’t Shobha write to Center when the BJP government wanted to move Aero Show to Lucknow from Karnataka.
Replying to Shobha’s tweet wherein she had posted a copy of two-page complaint she submitted to Rajnath Singh against Karnataka Police and M B Patil for playing vindictive politics against BJP supporters and sympathisers Patil tweeted “Why haven’t you written to Center for funding for Alamatti Rehabilitation, Vijayapura Airport, Including Vijayapura in Unesco, Getting more trains to Kaka, Bullet trains in Ktka, More IIMs and IITs.”
“No one saw your letter when your Govt wanted to move Aero Show to
Why haven’t you written to center for
1)Funding for Alamatti Rehabilitation
2)Vijayapura Airport
3)Including Vijayapura in UNESCO

On Monday Shobha said “The police instead of finding the real culprit of the alleged fake letter written by M B Patil or to find out the authenticity of the letter, they are going after innocent journalist Hemant Kumar who has no role in any conspiracy. He is being falsely framed in the case by police to please the minister (Patil).”
