Mangaluru: MCC Civic Group staged a protest outside St.Agnes College, Bendorewell demanding construction of a bus shelter.
Addressing the meet, activist Gerard Towers said the bus shelter which was here since six decades had been demolished. This has caused inconvenience to hundreds of students here.
He also warned of taking to legal recourse if the bus shelter was not reconstructed at the spot.
Rajendra, the media convener for Aam Admi Party-Mangaluru said, ” The MCC has planned several projects in its smart city projects including e toilets and a new bus stand at Bendoore, but it should be constructed in a proper place and not where it is not convenient for the public. Like in this case, a small bus shelter was constructed but had to be moved since no one used it and had many complaints.
