MCC elections: Mustering underway in Rosario School

Mangaluru: Ahead of Mangaluru City Corporation elections, the mustering of election officials, EVMs, VVPAT units and other election-related paraphernalia was held in Rosario School premises on Monday, November 11.
Mangaluru City Corporation council elections are scheduled for November 12 and 12 3,87,517 people in 60 wards are eligible to vote in the elections. While 1,99,989 are men, 1,87,465 are women, and the number of others is 63. Voting will be held at 448 polling booths between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.
EVMs with photographs of candidates and symbols and NOTA option would be there in this election too.
A total of tow DCP, Four ACP, twelve PI, Thirty-two PSI, Seventy-seven ASI, Five hundred and eleven Head Constable/Police Constable
are deployed in the election booths.
