MCC’s care through chairs is causing minor scare

Mangaluru: For the convenience of shoppers, the Mangaluru City Corporation has arranged chairs near the Central Market while they wait for their turn to buy household provisions.

But many have questioned this move by MCC as people sitting on and changing the chairs might cause viruses and germs to spread thus defeating the very purpose of distancing.

Many people, for this reason, were seen standing and waiting for their chance.

A rush was seen on Tuesday, March 31 outside shops and markets in the city. Many were opting for meat because of instability in vegetable prices and unavailability of fishes.
