Many people lauded him and hope his sense of responsibility encourages others.
It's something to cheer, in fact! Despite a devastating pandemic, he's back in business! An Indian made vaccine has reached the common man on the street! I feel it's a message full of courage, adaptability and hope!

Yes, he can still get infected and pass on the infection like you’ve mentioned. However, his action displays his willingness to be careful & take measures for safety of himself, his family, as well as his customers; this may be a bare minimum but it is a very good step forward.

The message is clear, a vaccinated man can get back to his routine job and others too can feel safe dealing with him. It also proves there has been no hesitancy against vaccination prog of Govt even in farflung areas, unless outside influences prevailed.

I feel it also stems from a sense of social responsibility. There are a few lessons here.
