In an escalating feud stemming from a recent banner dispute, a group of individuals reportedly assaulted and stabbed a man named Devdas in Melkar on Thursday night.
The victim, Devdas, has since been hospitalized in Mangalore for treatment.
Local authorities from the Bantwal City Police swiftly arrived at the scene to initiate a thorough investigation into the incident.
