‘Meti’ Vijayalakshmi to contest as independent against former minister H Y Meti

Bagalkote: ‘Meti’ Vijayalakshmi, who was allegedly engaged with the sex scandal with former minister H Y Meti, will challenge against H Y Meti as an independent candidate from Bagalkote. 

Addressing the journalists she stated, “Everybody knows the injustice that is done to me in the sex CD scandal. With a specific end aim to give equity to scores of ladies who have been subjected to abuse like me, I have chosen to challenge from Bagalkote constituency as an independent candidate in the upcoming elections. I will sacrifice my life to get justice to ladies who are confronting abuse and injustice from the soceity” 

“MEP party had invited me to join their party. I have requested that they give me some time. Nonetheless, I need to challenge as an independent candidate. Winning and losing is a part of politics. That is the reason I ask for the general public to favor me like their daughter and choose me from Bagalkote,” she included.
