Bengaluru: Sandalwood actress Sanjjanaa Galrani, on Tuesday, issued an apology for the accusations made against Ganda Hendathi film director Ravi Shrivatsa.

In her #MeToo story, Sanjjanaa, who made her debut in the Ganda Hendathi movie alleged that she was subjected to ill-treatment on the movie sets and claimed that she was forced to do obscene scenes and was depicted in a vulgar way.

While issuing an apology to Shrivatsa and Kannada Film Industry Directors’ Association (KANFIDA), the actress said that she did not wish to pursue the matter any further as per the advice of seniors in the film industry including Dr Ambareesh.

However, the actress stood by her statements and clarified that she never meant to hurt anyone’s feelings, and was sorry if her revelations had hurt others, especially director Ravi Shrivatsa, the entire film team of Ganda Hendathi and the Kannada directors’ association.

After Sanjjanaa’s apology, Shrivatsa has said that he feels vindicated and doesn’t want to discuss anything more on this matter.
