Bengaluru: Actress Shruthi Hariharan on Tuesday moved the High Court of Karnataka seeking squashing of First Information Report (FIR) registered against her by the cyber crime police, on the basis of a complaint filed by Shiva Arjun, manager, Shree Raam Films International that belongs to actor Arjun Sarja’s family.
The complainant, Shiva Arjun alleged that Shruthi had conspired to defame his employer Arjun Sarja and had misused cyberspace facilities towards this end.
In her petition, Hariharan contended that the FIR is “instituted against her to ridicule her via legal intimidation”.
