Bengaluru: If you are a Metro commuter and wish to convey a camera amid the journey then you may be required to give your Aadhar details and mobile number.

In spite of the fact that giving these details isn’t compulsory, authorities at the Vijayanagara, Vidhana Soudha, Baiyappanahalli, Malleshwaram, Yashwanthpur, Majestic, Mysuru street and Indiranagar stations are said to follow it as a request much to the astonishment of a few Metro travelers.

One of Namma Metro travelers opined, “They can gather the name, address, mobile number for the individuals who carry liquor, weapons, and inflammable materials, however applying this rule for cameras isn’t right. Presently, everybody has the camera, that is a common thing.”

Answering to this, Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) Public Relation Officer U A Vasantha Rao stated, “Numerous travelers take photographs amid the journey. If anyone object we write down their name and mobile number.  No direction has been given to take Aadhar number. In the event that there is anything like that we will check”.
