Mi-17 copter makes precautionary landing in Bengaluru

Bengaluru: A utility helicopter belonging to the Indian Air Force made a precautionary landing on Sunday at Bannerghatta near here after it developed a technical snag. 

“An Mi-17 helicopter made a precautionary landing at Bannerghatta after it developed a technical snag,” IAF Public Relations Officer and Wing Commander Anupam Bannerjee told PTI.

After attending to the technical snag, the helicopter was flown back to the Hindustan Aeronautical Limited airport in Bengaluru, Bannerjee said. 

In response to a question, Bannerjee said he did not know at what time the incident occurred.
