Bajpe: Security officials have caught a passenger travelling to Dubai by an Air India Express flight for illegal possession of foreign currency notes at the Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) on Thursday morning February 7th.

The security officials at MIA were frisking passengers as per usual at MIA when they noticed a passenger identified as Abdul Hameed Kodiyamma having something concealed inside his undergarments. Hence they took the passenger to the separate checking room where he was subjected to an intensive search which revealed two bundles of US dollar currency notes worth 5000 dollars hidden within his undergarments.

The passenger along with the foreign currency has been handed over to the customs officials for further investigation.
