Microsoft offers companies free app to screen employees for Covid-19

Microsoft and UnitedHealth Group are offering companies a covid-19 screening app called ProtectWell. The app provides a daily symptom screener to help companies to screen employees.
ProtectWell provides workers a series of questions to screen for Covid-19 infection or exposure, including asking for the employee’s temperature and if they are experiencing symptoms such as fever, cough or shortness of breath.
It helps employees determine they are safe to go to work, co-workers know their colleagues have been screened, and employers feel confident that their workplace is ready to do business.
It also provides guidelines on physical distancing, personal hygiene, sanitation and more to help ensure a safe work environment.
The app combines UnitedHealth Group’s clinical and data analytics capabilities with Microsoft’s technology leadership to help in the next phases of Covid-19 recovery efforts.
