Mid-day meal staffs stage ‘Vidhana Soudha Chalo’ protest

Bengaluru: The Mid-day meal staffs of Karnataka are all set to hold a “Vidhana Sabha Chalo” protest rally on Thursday, February 8 to fulfil their demand of pay hike. As a result, no Mid-day meal will be served to the children in Government schools across Karnataka today.

The mid-day meal organization workers headed by Varalaxmi of CITU will protest in front of Vidhana Soudha.

The workers will start from Krantiveera Sangolli Rayanna railway station and later occupy Vidhana Soudhan demanding for hike in their salary from Rs.2500 to around Rs.10,000.
