New Delhi: The immensely popular mighty buffalo ‘Sultan’ is no more. Reports said the buffalo, valued at Rs 21 Crore, died of a heart attack in Haryana’s Kaithal district.

With a well-oiled 6 feet long body, slick grey-black hide, and attractive eyes, Sultan was a crowd-pleaser at cattle shows and had won first place in the ‘National Animal Beauty Competitions’ at Jhajjar, Karnal, and Hisar in 2013.

According to reports, his owner Naresh Beniwal is deeply saddened at the untimely loss of the giant ‘Sultan’.

An animal lover had sought to buy Sultan for a whopping sum of Rs 21 crore at the Pushkar Fair in Rajasthan. However, his owner Naresh declined the offer as he treated him as a son.

There was a great demand for the semen of this stud bull for its vitality and potential in breeding quality offspring. According to some reports, every year Sultan earned his owner around Rs 90 lakh.
