Bengaluru: The Bruhath Bangalore Hotels Association has appealed to the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) to temporarily halt the supply of milk to other states due to the high demand for milk. This move comes after a shortage of Nandini milk and milk products were observed in Bengaluru, causing significant inconvenience to hotel owners.
P C Rao, President of the Bruhath Bangalore Hotels Association, wrote a letter to the Managing Director of KMF, explaining the difficulties faced by hotel owners in procuring adequate supplies of Nandini milk and milk products. The letter requested the KMF to temporarily halt the supply of milk to other states and, if necessary, import milk from foreign countries to meet the current demand.
Nandini milk and milk products are widely used in Bengaluru hotels, and the shortage of these products has disrupted the hotel industry’s operations. Therefore, the Bruhath Bangalore Hotels Association has requested that KMF take urgent measures to ensure that there is no shortage of milk for common people.
