Min Kota Srinivas Poojary, S Angara meet CM Yediyurappa; put forth various demands

Mangaluru: District in-charge Minister Kota Srinivasa Poojary and Fisheries Minister S Angara led a delegation of party legislators and met Chief Minister BS Yeddiyurappa today with various demands for the district.
They submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa. They urged CM to appoint additional Arogya Mitra executives and also sought permission to undertake Covid-19 test in KVG Medical College. They further requested the CM to supply oxygen tankers and 50,000 to 1 lakh vaccines to Dakshina Kannada district
Also, as the coastal district has been hit by Cyclone Tauktae, the delegation requested the CM to release Rs 100 Cr from the National Disaster Response Fund (NDRF) for relief and rehabilitation works
They further requested CM to consider local Gram Panchayat members as frontline warriors and give first dose of Covid-19 vaccine to all the members
The Ministers also informed the Chief Minister of the various poojas held in Kukke Subramanya Swamy temple in the wake of Covid-19 pandemic and gave him the temple prasad
Puttur MLA Sanjeeva Matandoor and Bantwal MLA Rajesh Naik were present.
