Bengaluru: Medical Education minister K Sudhakar on Tuesday, June 30 reported back to duty after eight days of home quarantine.
Taking to twitter Sudhakar wrote, “Since the last eight days I am under home quarantine as few in my family tested positive for COVID. My test report has come negative today, I will return to my regular duties from Tuesday.
He further added, “With your good wishes my family members are recovering.”
After his family members tested positive for COVID Sudhakar’s sample was tested at the Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Chest Diseases on Monday, which turned out to be negative.
During home quarantine, he discharged his duties online and interacted with officials through video-conferencing.
Sitting at home, he also presided over the 22nd annual convocation of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences by video-conferencing, in the capacity of pro-chancellor of the university and conferred degrees on students.
