Minister pledges support for Kambala, other sports

Ullala: Youth and Sports Minister B Nagendra on Saturday, January 14 emphasized the commitment of the state government and the sports department to promote sports, including kambala.
Addressing the gathering at Lav-Kush Kambala Nagendra announced that the department would take necessary steps for the release of grants for Kambala.
The event held in the presence of dignitaries such as Assembly Speaker UT Khader, Former Minister Ramanatha Rai, MLC Harish Kumar, District Collector Mullai Mugilan, Sashikumar, President of Kanachur Educational Institutions Dr. U. Kanachur Monu, KPCC Secretary Mithun Rai, Rakesh Malli, DK Milk Producers Union President Sucharita Shetty, Manjanadi Dargah President Abdul Aziz Mysore Bawa, President of District Bus Owners’ Association Aziz Parthippadi, Mumbai-based Businessman Vivek Shetty Bolyaguthu, Chandrahasa Shetty of The Comforts Inn, Deralakatte, Congress leader Rakshit Shivaram, Managing Director of Mescom D Padmavati, and others were present.
A special tribute was paid to Mittakodi Venkappa Kajava and Umesh Mahabala Shetty Mani Sagu on this occasion, recognizing their leadership in Lava-Kush Kambala in Pajeerugeda Bail.
The program, skillfully conducted by Satish Kumar Pundikaç, featured a warm welcome by Prashant Kajava, the Executive President of the Kambala Committee, and a reading of the letter of appreciation by Nawaz Naringana and Joseph Cutina.
