Vijayapura: BJP MLA from here Basanagouda Patil Yatnal has accused that three men who had sought his support to depose Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa have now become Cabinet ministers after blackmailing with a CD and paying money.
Yatnal has, however, not revealed the names of the three people who had requested his help in bringing down Yediyurappa from the chief minister’s post.
“Some people have become ministers after scaring Yediyuappa by showing him a CD and others through the payment of a lot of money,” Yatnal said.
“Chief Minister Yediyurappa has lost the respect of the Veerashaiva-Lingayat community. If the CM has any morals left then he should resign,” he added.
Yatnal further accused that all the Veerashaiva-Lingayat mathas funded by BS Yediyurappa had planned to launch a coordinated protest against the Central government in case if the chief minister resigned. Adding that Yediyurappa’s political end has already begun.
