Shivamogga: Minor attacks man with machete in meat shop dispute

A minor from a different community attacked a man with a machete at a meat shop in Tippunagar, Shivamogga. The victim, Mallesha (40), sustained injuries to his neck in the assault.

The incident occurred when Mallesha, a resident of Gadikoppa, went to a mutton shop near Tippunagar to buy meat. A dispute arose over Mallesha asking for more meat, leading to the altercation.

Mallesha is currently receiving treatment at Shivamogga’s McGann Hospital. The Tunganagar police have taken the minor into custody and registered a case at the Tunganagar police station.
