Minor boy sexually assaulted: GP member arrested

Byndoor: A gram panchayat member has been arrested for of having sexually assaulted a minor boy. The accused in identified as Ramesh Ganiga (38), member of Kergalu Gram Panchayat.
The accused had taken the 14 year old boy to a under construction building where is sexually assaulted the teenager. The boy managed to escape from there, reached his home and informed his family of the act. Later, the accused was handed over to the police by the parents of the boy and the locals. The locals inform that the accused has been troubling boys this way earlier too. A police case has been registered in this connection.
