Minor Girl Murdered by Mother After Quarrel Over Her Love Affair in Kolar

Kolar: A 17 year old girl Rajeshwari died after her mother beaten the deceased by a wooden stick following a quarrel over Rajeshwari’s lover affair at Chinnapura in Kolar district on Monday late evening. The mother of the girl, Venkatamma admitted the crime stating that her daughter failed in the last Pre University examination and had a love affair with a youth in the same village. Love affair and failure in the examination forced to punish her daughter fearing that they might be lost their honour in the society. 

The local police have taken the accused into their custody along with her two children in connection to the case. Widow, daily labourer Venkattamma was working hard to fulfill the requirements of her children. Recent love affair of her daughter created tension in her family however the situation was under control. Meanwhile, a quarrel between the daughter and mother occurred as Rajeshwari reached her residence in the late evening after meeting her lover on Monday causing her death.
