Minor girl student abducted, complaint filed

Mangaluru: Parents of a minor girl from have filed a complaint after the girl student was abducted from Jappinaguthu in Kujanathbail near Kavoor.
Reportedly, girl in question came home from school on the evening of February 14 and changed her uniform and, moments later, a person identified a Parashuram (26), escorted her away.
As the girl did not return home for long the parents and neighbourhood looked for her at various places but failed to trace her. Eventually, the girl’s father complained to Kavoor police about the abduction on Sunday, February 16.
Both the girl’s and boy’s families of the girl had come to Mangaluru searching for employment here and work as coolies, informwed sources.
