Kottigehara: A minor landslide incident has been reported from Somanakadu near Charmadi Ghat on Thursday.
As per the reports, officials of the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) have deployed JCBs to clear the mud and debris from the road.
Sources say that the landslide occurred due to heavy rains observed in the ghat area over the past few days.
Meanwhile, due to heavy downpours on the ghat and landslip incidents, vehicular movement between Mangaluru and Chikkamagaluru has been affected.
