Mandya: Fishermen in Nagamangala taluk in the district were in for a surprise when they found an ATM machine in the lake.

It is said that some people had gone to the lake for fishing and found an iron box in the lake. On checking they realized that it was an ATM machine and immediately informed the police.

On a closer check, they found that the machine did not have any money and was rusted and filled with mud.

It is suspected that the machine belonged to Malavalli taluk of the district from where the machine was stolen long back. The thieves must have stolen the money and dumped the machine in the lake.
