An MLA from Telangana had a fortunate escape after his jeep encountered a tyre burst accident near Miyaru in Karkala on Saturday.
The MLA, who was en route to Sringeri temple from Mangalore, was traveling at a significant speed when the tyre of the jeep suddenly burst.
However, the occupants of the vehicle, including the MLA, managed to emerge unharmed from the mishap.
As the tyre burst caused the jeep to lose control, it became wedged between a roadside electric pole and a tree.
