Bengaluru: Well-known Gynaecologist and sexologist Dr Padmini Prasad has urged people to beware of a fake Facebook profile that has been created in her name.

Dr Prasad said that she came to know of the fake profile after few persons contacted her over the phone seeking to know if she was giving medical advice through the so-created Facebook profile.

The miscreants have allegedly uploaded a photo of the renowned sexologist and have asked people to send message for any sexual problems that they may have along with photos and/or videos. Few unsuspecting women are said to have fallen prey to the trap. However, no case has been registered so far.

Meanwhile, Dr Padmini has made it clear that she is not offering any medical advise or treatment over social media. “I am only treating patients who visit my RajajiNagar clinic. Miscreants have used my photo to create a fake account. Do not fall for their trap and in case of any medical issues contact me directly,” said Dr Prasad.
