Missing boy found dead under a drain

Kasargod: A missing teen was found dead under a drain here on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as Jasheer (15), son of Jaffer from Mangad.

It has been learnt that Jasheer went missing since Thursday evening and was not to be found even after many search operations were led by friends and family members.

The body of a student was found lying in a drain by the side of the over-bridge at Uduma Kalnad.

Jasheer was a tenth standard student of Chattanchal School.

It has been learnt that he had left home on Thursday evening for buying new clothes which he wanted to wear for the farewell function organized at his school. He was not seen thereafter.

The body of the minor student was found in decomposed state on Monday March 5 morning. The police are investigating the reasons for the death and also as to whether it is a case of murder or death due to some other reason.
