Missing fishermen are safe but in trouble: Bobbarya Daiva

Malpe: Bobbarya Daiva is a deity that is revered by the fishermen community and he has assured that all the seven fishermen who have gone missing along with the deep sea trawler they were are alive but in trouble.

Even though the state government, fishermen and even the defence are trying to their best to locate the missing fishermen, no definite leads have yet been made and in this backdrop the fishermen of the first and second Mogaveera grama sabha of Badanidiyoor had organized ‘Daiva Darshana’ at the Thottam Bobbarya Daivasthana seeking divine guidance on Wednesday, January 9.

Soon after the Daiva took control of the Patri, it assured the families of the fishermen that it would stay near the missing fishermen and protect them.

“The missing fishermen are on the northern direction. They have been nabbed by people from outside state and are facing many difficulties. The government’s current search is not being effective and a higher level of operation is required,” said the Daiva.

Let us search as per the words of the Daiva

“If the work can happen, let’s put pressure on anybody. We too have kept faith in gods and Daivas. Let us attempt to search as per the words of the Daiva,” said Nadagouda, Fiheries minister.
