Missing fishermen: Investigation continues

Udupi: The investigation regarding the mysterious disappearance of deep sea trawler ‘Suvarna Tribhuja’ along with its crew of 7 fishermen has not been completed, said SP Nisha James.

The SP was responding to a question asked in this connection to Dr Jayamala at the press conference after the KDF quarterly meeting and said that along with the family members of the missing fishermen, investigation is being carried I parts of Karnataka, Kerala and Maharashtra. Search has also been conducted by the navy and air force. Search has been carried through satellites, but there is no information, she said.

When questioned on Meenakshi Lekhi’s statement that the fishermen have been found in Dubai the SP responded, “There is no information on who they are.”
