Missing Priyanka returns home after being released on bail

Mangaluru: Priyanka from Daregudde who went missing from her home a day before she had to get married after intoxicating her family was released on Friday after the JMFC Court granted her bail.

City Police along with Mumbai police team had successfully nabbed Priyanka and from Mumbai on December 21.

Priyanka was arrested on charges of theft of gold ornaments and offering an intoxicating drink to her family. However, all the gold ornaments were found with her.

She was produced to the court on December 23 in the case of offering an intoxicating drink to her family and was remanded to judicial custody until December 26. Then the custody period was extended to January 5, 2018.

It has been reported that, initially Priyanka refused to go home but after her family insisted she agreed to go along with them.
