- Team leaves to Goa
Malpe: With the message on diesel spill being found in the sea near Panaji Baitul in Goa going viral on social media, there is a suspicion that the diesel may have belonged to the mysteriously missing deep sea trawler ‘Suvarna Tribhuja’.
In this backdrop, a team under the leadership of circle inspector Manjunath left to Goa from Udupi on Monday night and collected information in this connection. The coast guard rushed to the spot and conducted investigation. But no traces of any diesel spill have been found there, they informed. The navy has continued its search for the missing boat through its ship.
Family members’ angery
It’s been a month since the deep sea trawler along with its crew of 7 fishermen have gone missing mysteriously and yet no trace of them has been found. The pain being felt by the family members of the missing fishermen is now converting into anger. The family members are meeting the superintendent of police and department officials almost daily and persistently asking where their loved ones are what has happened to them
