Kavoor: Mangalore North MLA Dr. Bharat Shetty on Tuesday, November 5, strongly condemned the recent attack on the vehicle of Edneer Math’s Sri Sachidananda Bharathi Teertha Swamiji.

The incident reportedly took place in Bovikanam, Kasaragod, on Sunday, November 3, whenmiscreants obstructed and damaged the Swamiji’s vehicle.

MLA Shetty criticized the law and order situation in Kerala, stating that a rise in challenges posed by disruptive and anti-Hindu elements reflects the failure of the current government.

He remarked that an attack on a revered leader like Swamiji, who is a guiding force for the Hindu community, is an assault on the community as a whole.

Dr. Shetty urged Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan to take immediate action by filing a case under non-bailable sections to hold those responsible accountable and curb such anti-social activities in the future.
