MLA Harish Poonja has accused the Congress government in Karnataka of indulging in politics of hatred since coming to power. Poonja claims the government, unable to achieve development or address the issues of common people, has resorted to divisive politics.

Speaking to the media in Mangalore on Friday, Poonja alleged that the government led by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah has been filing baseless cases against BJP legislators. He asserted that the Congress government should abandon the notion that it will remain in power indefinitely.

“If the Congress government continues with such politics of hatred, the BJP will be capable of responding similarly when it comes to power. It is unacceptable to file unfounded cases against legislators who are dedicated to the welfare of society,” Poonja stated.
