Bengaluru: MLA Umanath Kotian has publicly censured Minister MTB Nagaraj, pointing him responsible for delay in developmental works in his constituency.

Kotian said, “I am disappointed with Minister MTB Nagaraj. I went to meet him several times to discuss developmental issues in my constituency, every time he promises to look into the matter but does not take any action. The development works in my constituency have come to a standstill due to its neglect by the Minister.”

“Only 18 staff out of the 40 are working in the Bajpe town panchayat. The junior engineer comes once a month and the developmental works are delayed. I wanted to discuss the issues with the Minister but he never had time to talk to me,” he added.

However, Minister Nagaraj clarified that he treats all the legislators with respect and also attends to their needs.
