Mangaluru: Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath has urged City Commissioner to take strict action against an admin of a ‘Troll who trolls Kannadiga’, page for sharing a troll on Facebook having derogatory messages about Daivaradane.

Taking to twitter Kamath said, “Daiva’s are heart and soul of this land. The daiva’s here are respected by each and every individual of any community. Disrespecting it is not acceptable. Kindly refrain disrespecting Daiva’s in your arguments related to any matter. I request City Commissioner to please look into this matter.”

Replying to MLA’s tweet, City Commissioner Harsah CR wrote, “I have met the affected parties and have assigned DCP crime to look into the matter.. appropriate legal action would be initiated.”

Earlier in March, the same troll page had shared a troll on Facebook having derogatory messages about the culture and tradition of Mangaluru. Following which the Daivaradhane Chavadi and Dalit Rakshana Vedike, Managaluru had registered a complaint against the troll page admin. However, no action has been taken yet.
