MLA Vedavyasa Kamath inaugurates Alake market building

Mangaluru: The inauguration ceremony of the newly-built Alake Market was held here on Tuesday, October 13.
Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyasa Kamath inaugurated the building, constructed at a cost of Rs 1.40 crore in the presence of Mayor Diwakar Pandeshwar Deputy mayor Vedavathi among others.
Interlocks will be laid in the market premises, Kamath told after the inaugural ceremony and assured of taking measures to upgrade the Alake market for the public and traders’ use.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Diwakar Pandeshwar hailed MLA Kamath for taking the initiative to complete the work of Alake market which was pending for several years.
