Bengaluru: Nearly 20 days after being sworn in as Chief Minister, BS Yediyurappa on Tuesday inducted 17 ministers into his Cabinet. While voices of dissent are emerging within the BJP camp itself, the opposition – Congress and JDS were stunned by BJP government’s choice of two cabinet ministers namely – MLAs Laxman Sangappa Savadi and Chandrakantagouda Channappagouda Patil.
The two MLAs it may be recalled had left the party red-faced when they were caught watching a pornographic video clip in the Karnataka Legislative Assembly in 2012 during the Assembly session. Savadi in his clarification had said that they were watching the clip for educational purpose to know more about the rave parties.
Infact this decision has not gone well with few of the BJP MLAs as well as many experienced candidates have been overlooked in the current expansion.
