Vijayapura: Four persons including Nagathanna constituency MLA’s nephew were killed in a road accident on the Vijayapura-Hubli National Highway.
The deceased are identified as Vijayakumar Kashinatha Dodamani, (45), nephew of MLA Devanand Chauhan, and his friends, Chidananda Nagesh Suryavanshi (45), Somnath Kali (43), and Sandeepa Pawar (40).
The accident took place after the Fortuner car collided with a bus on late Sunday, November 28 night. While all the occupants in the car were killed on the spot, the bus passengers sustained minor injuries.
The mortal remains have been shifted to the district office for post-mortem examination.
Local police have registered a case in this regard.
