Mangaluru: MLC Ivan D’Souza claimed that Home Minister Shah is directly responsible for the deaths caused during the riots in Delhi and the provocative speeches of BJP leaders.
Speaking to reporters at a news conference here, D’Souza stated that the country is now in an undeclared state of Emergency and hence anything can happen. People who oppose the government are tagged as anti-nationals and are booked for sedition. Modi and Shah have forgotten the people of India and are blaming Congress for the riots to hide their faults.
D’Souza also spoke over the issue of Basangowda Patil Yatnal’s comments on Doreswamy saying that Yatnal doesn’t know what the Indian Independence struggle was as none from his party ever took part in it. Today Doreswamy’s participation was questioned tomorrow even Mahatma Gandhi’s contribution too will be questioned by them.
He added that if Yatnal doesn’t apologise for his comments on Doreswamy then he will start an agitation in the Assembly.
