Kundapur: In a letter addressed to the deputy commissioner of Udupi, the leader of the opposition in state legislative council, Kota Srinivas Poojary has expressed resentment at not inviting MLA Raghupati Bhat, for the government programme organised at Udupi on Thursday January 24.

The MLC warned the DC stating that not extending invitation to legislators for government programmes amounts to insulting the legislator which is covered under the legislator’s breach of privilege rules.

Further course of action would be decided on the basis of response from the deputy commissioner, said Poojary in a release.
