M’luru: Bus conductor held for misbehaving with girl student

Police have arrested a conductor of a private city bus on charges of misbehaving with a girl student.
The arrested Manjunath (21), a native of Bagalkot works as a conductor on Canara Bus route no 19.
A video of a class eight student’s mother taking the conductor to task for misbehaving with her daughter has gone viral. The girl in question used to travel in the bus and Manjunath used to have friendly conversations with her. He also exchanged phone numbers and during a phone call had enquired about her family.
Upon coming to know about the situation, the girl’s mother got angry and confronted the conductor herself.
Sources said that the conductor had misbehaved with other girls too in the past but no one had lodged a complaint against him.
