Mangaluru: Three persons escaped unhurt after their car got crushed between a pickup vehicle and a lorry at Thokottu junction here.
Reportedly the mishap took place after the pickup vehicle moving ahead of the car applied sudden brakes. The car driver was unable to stop the car and rammed against the pickup vehicle. Just then, a gravel-laden lorry rammed the car from behind.
The car was completely damaged due to impact of the collisions. However the three girl occupants of the car escaped unhurt.
Vehicular traffic was affected briefly on the road following the accident.
Mangaluru South traffic police registered a case.
