M’luru: Car trailer falls into roadside ditch near Thokkottu; traffic affected

Mangaluru: A car trailer fell into a roadside ditch while trying to avoid a collision with a car at Kapikad near Thokkottu on Sunday, January 23 morning.

The trailer was transporting Hyundai cars from Mumbai to Kasargod.

The accident took place when the car, traveling ahead of the trailer swerved to the left without giving any signal. The car trailer fell into the ditch as its driver lost control of his vehicle while avoiding colliding against the car.

A CCTV footage of the incident shows the car moving straight ahead as the trailer falls into the ditch.

Following the mishap, vehicular traffic was impacted on the road. A crane was deployed to lift the trailer and clear the traffic.
