M’luru: Compol suspends constable for allegedly harassing woman complainant

A police constable, attached to Kavoor police station, was allegedly suspended for misbehaving with a woman complainant and sending obscene messages to her.
The accused identified as Santosh is the head constable of Kavoor police station.
Allegedly Santosh obtained the victim’s number when had gone to file a police complaint at the station. He then began texting and sending obscene messages to her. The woman also alleged that he threatened to make her life miserable if she complained about him.
Unable to bear the harassment, the woman complained to city police commissioner Anupam Agarwal. Following this, the Compol ordered the suspension of the accused constable.
