Mangaluru: A court here issued a summons to M Varadaraya Prabhu in connection with a defamation case related to Sevanjali Charitable Trust, which is chaired by MLA Vedavyasa Kamath.

M Varadaraya Prabhu is accused of submitting a false complaint to the DK registrar and the Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) Commissioner. On the basis of which reports were published in newspapers.

Thereafter, MLA Vedavyas Kamath filed a defamation lawsuit at the city’s second JMFC Court.
