M’luru: ‘Hore Kanike’ procession on Sep 25 to mark centenary celebrations of Car Street Sharada Mahotsava

Mangaluru: A ‘Hore Kanike’ procession has been organised on September 25 as part of the centenary celebrations of Shri Sharada Mahotsava of Acharya Matha area at Car Street in Mangaluru.

Secretary of the management committee Adige Balakrishna Shenoy said that the procession of offerings from the devotees will leave from Nehru Maidan at 10.30 AM on September 25 for Temple Square.

The offerings of ‘Rajata Peeta’, ‘Prabhavali’, ‘Swarna Aarati’, ‘Swarna Navilu’, ‘Swarna Veena’, ‘Swarna Kai Bale’  will be taken in a grand procession to be offered to the deity.

The procession will proceed via clock tower, Hampankatte Signal, K S Rao Road, Navabharath Circle, PVS Junction, MG Road, Narayana Guru Circle, Mannagudde, Kudroli New Chitra, and Car Street to reach Sri Venkataramana Temple.
